What to Expect:

We’re thrilled to bring you the Salty Hearts Festival, a unique and intimate weekend blending the Bamfield community with a love of music and adventure. This festival features:

Specialty food elements
Saunas and wellness activities
Games and local adventures

We’re collaborating with the Huu-ay-aht Group of Businesses and an amazing group of Bamfield residents to create a one-of-a-kind festival experience. Our goal is to honor and include this special community while building something everyone can look forward to!

Camping at Pachena Bay:

For those camping at Pachena Bay, we’ve reserved 1/3 of the campground, with additional sites available for booking directly with the campsite. Here’s what to expect:

Pop-Up DJ Dance Floor: A pole tent dance floor by night and a communal/dry space by day.
Communal Kitchens: Cooking and BBQ stations with truckloads of firewood available.
Site Capacity: Camp per site – fit as much as you can (e.g., a few RVs or 4-5 vehicles per site).

- Group Activities (7:30-8:30 PM): Square dancing and more!
Pachena Bay Campground:
- 11:00 PM - Late: DJ Dance Party (“Afters”) for campers.

Sunday Morning (March 23):

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Polar Bear Swim & Sauna Sessions.

Hacas Inn Hotel Rooms (2 Nights Stay)

The Hacas back parking lot. Now called "The Hotel Square" will serve as the primary stage and tented environment. Many of the rooms open up to the "Hotel Square" and conveniently and intimately connect you with the heart of this festival.

Music goes till 12:30AM each night so expect to get rattled till then. Many of the crew and performers are also staying at the Hacas inn.

Hotel rooms are for 2 nights Friday & Saturday during Salty Hearts. Please read through the variable tickets and what is offered in each of the rooms to know what your getting. https://hacasinn.ca/

This ticket is for two nights of camping. Friday & Saturday. You can have as many cars, trucks tents and RVs and people as you can fit!

We are Proud to present the next adventure....Salty Hearts Festival March 21, 22, 23 2025.....a "Pachena Bay Sister Festival".

Long Shot Events is excited to be working on this second project with Huu-ay-aht Group of Businesses. We hope to create something everyone can look forward to that honors and includes the very special community of Bamfield.

We are excited to be working with an exceptional group of residents who together with our team are surely to create something unique unto itself. We look forward to shaping how this event looks fully informed by those who live there.

MOST of the Music takes place at Hacas Inn downtown Bamfield. We are setting up a bunch of cozy tented areas for dining, group activates, and lots of dancing and enjoying music.

Local initiatives include, not limited to and in development;
-Bamfield Scavenger hunt
-Open mic and music on the westside during the day on Saturday
-Day time Artisan market
-Fire Hall Jam sessions.

For all the west coast legends who are camping at Pachena, we have 1/3 of the campground with a few more sites available on our store. You can also book direct with the campsite.

We will have a basic pop up Dj set up in a pole tent that acts as a dance floor by night and common area/dry tent by day. We are setting up some communal kitchen infrastructure and a few truck loads of fire wood so we can cook, BarBQ and bone fire like legends!!

Take note: The camping is per site that means what ever you can fit in there. Most sites are big enough for a few Rvs or 4 or 5 vehicles.
